[Commercial Break] Dermalogica Launches Newly Reformulated Double Duty Concealing Spot Treatment that Treats and Conceals‏

A healthy skin is founded upon prevention and proactive habits which intercept breakouts and other dermal issues. However, even with the best care, adult acne occasionally occur. Dermalogica®, researched and developed by The International Dermal Institute (IDI), has launched the updated and reformulated Concealing Spot Treatment, an effective alternative to products containing Benzoyl Peroxide.

The original formulation, a sulfur suspension packaged with a glass bottle-dropper, has been modified to better suit customer needs. The creamier, more highly concentrated product has been redesigned for easier application and a consistently flawless finish.

First launched as part of the Dermalogica’s MediBac Clearing™ segment created to target ubiquitous adult acne, the new formula treats skin conditions that may trigger comedones (pimples or blemishes), and camouflages the spot with a neutral Iron Oxide tint.

“We are not a cosmetic company,” comments Dermalogica Founder and Owner, Jane Wurwand. “Our brand is devoted exclusively to skin health. However, we are sensitive to the needs of our customers. When a spot appears on their face, the first concern experienced by many people is to cover it. We want to restore their confidence by effectively concealing the spot, while at the same time tackling the underlying causes.”

The primary actives of this product — a blend of Sulfur, Niacinamide, Zinc Gluconate, Salicylic Acid, Yeast Extract, Cinnamomum Zeylanicum (Cinnamon) Bark, Caffeine and Biotin — arrest bacterial activity “on the spot.” The newly added ingredient is hydrolyzed Ceratonia Siliqua, or Carob Seed Extract, a legume which has been a Middle Eastern and Mediterranean health care staple for 5,000 years. This anti-inflammatory botanical source has been used for everything from easing the pain of infant teething to soothing indigestion. In the newly reformulated Concealing Spot Treatment, Carob accelerates the recovery of stressed skin tissue, allowing skin to repair and re-moisturize itself in tandem with the purifying action of the bioactives.

Wurwand notes that there has been a marked upswing of adult acne, which differs from teen acne, in recent years. She also notes that women frequently experience breakouts and mild acne on the chin. The culprit is often hormonal; however fabric softeners can also be a contributing factor. “Fabric softeners, embedded in a pillowcase and pressed into the skin for several hours each night, coat the skin as well as the bed-linens. A waxy, occlusive softener antagonizes an area which may be prone to periodic flare-ups,” she cautions.

[Advertorial] Shhh~ Its a girly issue~

Today's topic will be touching on girls sensitive issue, so guys... you know what I meant yeap? :)

Being a woman, buying cosmetic, hair, body and facial products are not only things that one will need. It had came to a point that many woman, especially younger generation are neglecting their intimate zone, and not listening to what their intimate zone is voicing out to them.

My Review:

Look at those counters, those armchairs! Seriously, I really fall asleep while doing my treatment there. The armchair is simply, marvelous!!

Level 4: Massage/Hand, Foot & Nail Spa

The one stop floor for all hand/ foot massages, Manicure/ Pedicure. :) Be Pampered for choice!

Yeap, and not to forget, the foot reflexology area. :)

And and and!!! The one that tempted me the most!! full body whitening, age-defying and slimming machine. It looks so futuristic and I love how it is able to target every part of your face, body and back!^^

Its for you to chill out after a long long day~ :) You can even booked the whole floor down for some private function!
