Anti-Aging Secrets

As many are not aware yet, I'm now an official guest blogger for a known beauty and lifestyle website, Every month, I will be covering topics ranging from beauty, relationships, careers, sex & life and so on, on CozyCot. So for the month of June, I will be covering beauty topics, and I'll start off with my first article specially done for Cozy Cot- Anti-Aging Secrets.

Anti-aging can be a rather difficult topic to address! Admit it or not, all of us will eventually gets older and aging is unavoidable. The truth is rather harsh, but its either you accept the fact and do something to it, or, you can just ignore it and continue aging. 

Even though most of us are under the age of 25, I see no reason not to think about anti-aging now! As for me, though I have just reach my early 20s, I'm already starting to find ways to keep my skin as young and healty as possible, and for as long as possible! 

I mean, take a look at those beautiful woman who still look amazing even if they are already in their 40s and above! Lets just take it for example the actress, Sarah Jessica Parker, whom starred for Sex And The City. She still look so fabulous not only from great genes, I believed its because she started taking care of her skin at an early stage! I'm not sure about you guys, but for me, I really envy those stars/ celebrities who still looks great, despite their age! 

Any Idea what causes skin aging? Sun Damage, smoking, pollution, lack of moisture, and last but not least, for some of us, its genetics issue. So, lets set apart from genetics issues. We still do have many ways to prevent our skin from aging so fast! All we need is just to spend a little more time and effort everyday, and we can minimise the skin from aging so fast! So what are they? 

Use sunscreen. 
We just need a good quality sunscreen, preferably SPF 15 or higher to prevent those harmful UV rays. Some of us might think that we only need sunscreen/ sunblock only when we're out in the sun. But that's not the case. From the moment we walked out of our door, we are already exposing our skin to those harmful rays. So its best we applied it on our face every day, and also, try to minimise the time spend out in the sun. In this case, it helps too! 
Use an exfoliant
Its recommended because it removes the top layer of dead skin cells, which improves skin texture, unclog pores, and makes our skin absorb moisturizers better! 

Eating more fruits and vegetables

Fresh, healthy food that contains Vitamin antioxidants can help protect against those free radical damage. Some of the examples are papayas, mangoes, oranges, grapefruits, berries, carrots, tomatoes, sweet potatoes, and spinach. Green tea is also a good antioxidant too, you might want to try that too! 

Last but not least, having regular sleeping hours not only makes you looks better, it also play a part to our skin aging too! I believe if all of us were to spend a little time and effort everyday, we can have better, healthier lifestyle, and also, delay our skin aging too!
